Delta delta connection
Delta-delta connection:
The delta-delta connection, also known as the (Δ-Δ) connection, is a type of three-phase transformer connection where both the primary and secondary windings of the transformer are connected in a delta configuration.
This type of connection is often used in applications where the primary and secondary voltages are similar and where there is no requirement for a neutral point.
In the delta-delta connection, the three-phase supply is connected to the primary winding, which is connected in a delta configuration. The secondary winding is also connected in a delta configuration and provides the three-phase output voltage to the load.
