Star Connection

Star Connection:
The star-star connection, also known as the (Y-Y) connection, is a type of three-phase transformer connection where both the primary and secondary windings of the transformer are connected in a star configuration

This type of connection is often used in applications where the primary and secondary voltages are similar, such as in low voltage power distribution systems.

In the star-star connection, the three-phase supply is connected to the primary winding, which is connected in a star configuration. The secondary winding is also connected in a star configuration and provides the three-phase output voltage to the load.
